About Us
Joined by our love of dancing, great tunes, our extensive experience of playing in other bands and, perhaps most importantly, tea(!), Nine Points of Roguery started playing together in January 2010 and have very quickly become a sought-after band in the Edinburgh circuit. We’re fun, lively and musical, and very friendly! Whether it's a wedding, corporate event, or just a good party, we strive to provide a crackin’ evening’s entertainment!
Things we enjoy:
1. Giving everyone an amazing night of dancing, whether they’re seasoned ceilidh-goers or first timers!
2. Putting together energetic sets which are perfectly suited for the dances.
3. Making great music!
Things we don’t enjoy:
1. Nickelback.
2. When there is no milk in the fridge.
Our line-up gives us a fresh, individual sound, with the combination of fiddle and whistle providing an exciting lead and the guitar and cajon a strong, driving backing. Please have a listen here!
